John Jernigan, Ph.D., P.E., R.L.S.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Dr. Jernigan is the Director of Ellers, Oakley, Chester & Rike's Civil / Transportatin Division and offers forty years experience in civil and structural engineering desing. His design experience encompasses many types of multi-million dollar transportation projects such as roadways, bridges, airports, docks / harbors, railroads and site development as well as structual design of buildings.

In addition, Dr. Jernigan is a member of ASCE's, Technical Council of Lifeline Earthquake Engineering, Port Lifetime Committee.

B.S.C.E., Civil Engineering, 1960 - University of Mississippi - University, MS

M.S.C.E., Civil Transportation Engineering, 1982 - University of Memphis - Memphis, TN

Ph.D., Specializing in Seismic Risk Evaluation, 1998 - University of Memphis - Memphis, TN
