Information for

Engineering Career Day

The Ole Miss Engineering is “Committed to Leadership in Engineering Education” . To this end we are actively enhancing opportunities for our students to interact with alumni, friends, and industry. The Engineering Career Day is designed to promote our students while discovering the needs of industry leaders to insure that we are producing graduates that are prepared to take on leadership positions.

When your company sends a representative to our career day, you are given unique access to the Dean, department chairs, and faculty as well as our students, right in the heart of the school. All attendees are invited to a pre-career day reception where they can meet Dean Lee and many members of our faculty to discover areas of strength in teaching and research. Another unique advantage you will find here is that most of our career days coincide with student activity weeks as well as alumni board meetings, a unique opportunity to network and get involved more with the school and students on a more personal level.

We pride ourselves in producing engineers who are well versed in the fundamentals while having the intrapersonal skills that enable a graduate to be a leader in his or her field. From high school recruitment, learning the fundamentals, low student/faculty ration, involvement with industry and alumni, site visits and job placement. Ole Miss Engineering is fulfilling the promise of our motto.
