Suggested Timeline for Completion of MFA

First Year
	five courses (15 credit hours) English 600: Introduction to Graduate studies English 617, Teacher Preparation, if teaching composition suggested: one workshop, one literature class, and one elective per semester language requirement
Second Year
	five courses (15 credit hours) two workshops and two literature classes
Third Year
	one workshop and 3 thesis hours per semester book list and comprehensive exam thesis
