Information about the Design and the Designer

This document pertains to http://www.olemiss.edu/depts/english/mfa/
and all subsequent pages beneath that URL.

All pages' layout, style, html-coding and graphics were done by Gregory Brown in 2003. Coding was done in NoteTab Pro 4.95; graphics were handled by PaintShop Pro 8 and Irfanview, the web's very best free, fully-functional image transforming tool.

Almost all of the original content was written by David Galef using WordPerfect, which is the best word processor in the world. (Where's your Reveal Codes?) Document sharing was very easy due to WP.

Formatting in the documents is handled by external StyleSheets, which allow for easier updating and a bit more flexibility than HTML alone. Virtually all browsers support it at the time of this writing. The StyleSheets were written also with NoteTab Pro. I (GB) don't use WYSIWYG web editors because too often WISINWIRG.

Design graphics are the intellectual property of Gregory Brown, gbrown@olemiss.edu.
