Bone Density Laboratory The Bone Density Laboratory (Turner 248A) is dedicated to bone mineral density and body composition research. This lab houses two Hologic Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometers (DXA) that measure bone mineral density and body composition. DXA is currently the most widely used and thoroughly studied bone density measurement technology.
