The Coordinated Program (CP) may accept students from different backgrounds. Depending on the student's academic background, one of the following options will apply:
Students with a verification statement from a Didactic Program in Dietetics who have been fully accepted into the MS in Food and Nutrition Services can apply to the CP by providing the following information before the deadline of January 15.

Since CP students must be admitted to Graduate School as part of the admission process, they must follow the university's academic calendar. As the CP is but one component of the MS program, students will be complete two semesters of coursework prior to beginning supervised practice.
Students without a cerification statement will be required to complete the following prerequisites or equivalent courses prior to applying to the coordinated program:
NHM 401 and 402 are designed for the student without a verification statement. These courses are included to ensure that students enter the CP with the background knowledge and skills needed to the supervised practice component. NHM 401 is a series of medical nutrition therapy modules that students complete at their own pace during the semester. Each module has an assessment examination at the end; students are required to score 80% on each module examination to complete the course. NHM 402 is a lecture/laboratory course that includes components from community nutrition, Code of Ethics, menu planning, diabetic exchange lists, and quantity food production.
Students who have completed the prerequisites and have been fully admitted to the MS in Food and Nutrition Services may apply to the CP by providing the following information by January 15.
