B.S. in Hospitality Management The curriculum is designed to enhance students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills so that they can cope with the various needs of the hospitality industry in a managerial position. Students who complete the program in Hospitality Management choose among many of the job options in the growing hospitality industry. Students also gain practical management knowledge through diverse experiences, including study abroad, field trips and internships. Additionally, students operate Lenoir Dining, a student-run fine-dining restaurant. The Hospitality Management program has established the Hospitality Management Advisory Board to gain valuable insights from the industry. The advisory board consists of representatives from various sectors of the hospitality industry and holds regular meetings withthe faculty to help achieve the program’s goals.
