Management
Program
The hospitality industry is both exciting and rewarding. The curriculum
in this program integrates lodging and foodservice management, human resources
management, food production and safety, marketing, financial management,
and legal aspects of the hospitality industry, combined with relevant courses
in general education, business, and operational/management experience. The
curriculum is designed to enhance students’ critical thinking and problem-solving
skills so that they can cope with the various needs of the hospitality industry
in a managerial position. Students who complete the program in Hospitality
Management choose among many of the job options in the growing hospitality
industry.
