Kappa Omicron NuKappa Omicron Nu (KON) is the leading national honor society for students in Human Sciences that aims to empower leaders through scholarship, research, and leadership. Each year, the department of Family and Consumer Sciences inducts approximately 30 undergraduate students to the University of Mississippi chapter of Kappa Omicron Nu. Ole Miss Ambassadors for Southern HospitalityStudents in Hospitality Management program can join Ole Miss Ambassadors for Southern Hospitality (OMASH), a student-run organization designed to bridge the gap between student life and the professional world.
