Welcome to The University of Mississippi Online Loan Entrance Counseling Session provided by Mapping Your Future. We are happy to offer this session as a convenient method to satisfy federal requirements for loan counseling. This counseling module is used for Federal Stafford, Federal Perkins, Federal Health Professions, and McKinstry Loans.

 

You need only complete this counseling once during each academic degree program.

 

Please note that we will not generate loan contracts for any of these loan programs until the Entrance Counseling requirement has been satisfied.

 

During this session, you will have an opportunity to ask questions. Just click on the "Frequently Asked Questions,” and your questions will be addressed within 48 hours.

 

Personal counseling and written materials on debt management and other financial planning concerns are available upon request by contacting our Student Loan Department at studentloans@olemiss.edu or by calling 662-915-5546.

 

Good luck as you begin your debt management program. Remember that these are loans that must be repaid. We strongly encourage you to borrow only what you truly need!
