The University of Mississippi has made arrangements with
its Lender Partners to provide PLUS loan products based on their
service, products, and utilization of the ELM Resources Loan Application and
Disbursement Process. Parents may use any lender authorized by the U.S. Department of Education. If you wish to use a lender not listed, please contact that lender directly to apply.
By submitting an Online
Pre-Approval Application, the parent borrower and student
agree and certify that:

Student has filed and received results
on a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Both parent borrower and student are U.S. citizens.

Neither parent borrower nor student has ever defaulted on a federal education loan or owes a refund on a federal
education grant.

This Federal Plus Loan will be used solely for the educational expenses related to the student's attendance at The
University of Mississippi.

Parent borrower and student authorize The University of Mississippi to apply PLUS Loan proceeds as necessary
to pay tuition, fees, and other charges on the student's account in the Bursar's Office. Any excess proceeds shall be
mailed to the parent.

Parent borrower authorizes the lender selected to obtain a current credit bureau report of the parent
borrower's credit loan history to determine if he/she qualifies for a PLUS Loan. The lender is further authorized to
notify The University of Mississippi as to their approval or denial for the PLUS Loan.

The student was born after January 1, 1985, is not a
veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, will not be enrolled in a
graduate/professional program, is not married, is not an
orphan or ward of the court, and does not have legal dependents.

Student must be making satisfactory academic progress.
