The University of Mississippi has made arrangements with its Lender Partners to provide Graduate PLUS loan products based on their service, products, and utilization of the ELM Resources Loan Application and Disbursement Process. Students may use any lender authorized by the U.S. Department of Education. If you wish to use a lender not listed, please contact that lender directly to apply.

By submitting an Online Pre-Approval Application, the student agrees and certifies that:    

1. Student has filed and received results on a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

2. Student is a U.S. citizen.

3. Student has never defaulted on a federal education loan or owes a refund on a federal education grant.

4. This Graduate Plus Loan will be used solely for the educational expenses related to the student's attendance at The University of Mississippi.

5. Student authorizes The University of Mississippi to apply Graduate PLUS Loan proceeds as necessary to pay tuition, fees, and other charges on the student's account in the Bursar's Office. Any excess proceeds shall be refunded to the student.

6. Student authorizes the lender selected  to obtain a current credit bureau report of the borrower's credit loan history to determine if he/she qualifies for a Graduate PLUS Loan. The lender is further authorized to notify The University of Mississippi as to their approval or denial for the Graduate PLUS Loan.

7. Student must be making satisfactory academic progress.
