was established in 1993 by Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Abraham of Vicksburg, Mississippi, in memory of their
daughter. Preference will be given to students from Vicksburg high schools.

THE AMITE COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP
was established in 2004 to assist deserving men and women who are pursuing
an education at The University of Mississippi. The recipient will be a
resident of Amite County, Mississippi. The scholarship will be awarded
the first year to an entering freshman who attended any public or
private school in Amite County, Mississippi or to a current University
of Mississippi student academically classified as a freshman, sophomore,
junior, or senior, who has an ACT score of 18 or above, and whose
primary residence maintains an Amite County Farm Bureau membership.

were established in 1954 by the late Mrs. Anderson of Sumner.

THE ASBURY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
was established in 2002 by the Asbury Foundation,
represented by William K. Ray, to ensure that no promising scholar is
turned away from the University because of financial need, that the
brightest and best stay in Mississippi, and that students from all
racial and socioeconomic backgrounds continue to make a difference in
Mississippi and around the world.

was established in 2001 by the Alcorn County Alumni
Club in honor of Neal Atkins.

was established in 2000 by the Attala County Ole
Miss Club. Recipients will be graduates of a high school on Attala
County and must be enrolled full-time at The University of Mississippi.

THE MIKE AUNE SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT established in October 2007 by Eddie and
Cindy Aune of Oxford, Mississippi. The recipient will be a rising sophomore
who shows exceptional promise and does not have either a Croft scholarship or
other substantial scholarship support. The recipient will be selected by a
committee comprised of Croft faculty and Croft administrators.

to assist deserving nursing students who are attending The University of Mississippi Medical

based on academic excellence, leadership, and need.

was established in 1979 by members of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and friends in
memory of Mr. Carr.

First preference for the scholarship recipient shall be a full-time student who is a member
of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority with leadership potential. Recipients will be identified
by a selection committee composed of the chapter officers and advisors of the Delta Delta
Delta Sorority.

full-time freshman who is a resident of Mississippi and selection will be made based
on merit and need.

THE CHARLOTTE OLE MISS CLUB SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT was established in
2003 by the Charlotte Ole Miss Club, a chapter of the University of
Mississippi Alumni Association. Scholarships of $1,000 per year are
granted to provide income for scholarship assistance to deserving
students in the Charlotte, N.C.-area who are pursuing an education
at The University of Mississippi. The recipient(s) shall be a
resident of Mecklenburg, North Carolina and surrounding counties:
Gaston, Lincoln, Iredell, Cabarrus, Union, and York (South
Carolina). First preference shall be given to a full-time entering
freshman student at The University of Mississippi. Second preference
shall be given to any student from Mecklenburg, North Carolina or
the surrounding counties enrolled at The University of Mississippi.
Recipient shall have a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average and be
active in school and community activities. The scholarship may be
received by recipient for eight semesters contingent upon
maintaining a 3.0 grade point average. The recipient will be
expected to be involved with the Charlotte Alumni Club.

full-time seniors who are dependent children of staff members of the University of Mississippi Office,
who have been employed for at least 5 consecutive years at any of the following campuses—Oxford, Desoto,
Tupelo, and Booneville. Recipient will be selected based on merit and /or need and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

established February, 2007 by the City of Southaven. First preference will be given to students who are
residents of Southaven, MS who are enrolled in the 2+2 program on the University of Mississippi-DeSoto
Center campus and Northwest Community College 2+2 transfer students who previously received the City of
Southaven scholarship. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and academic potential.

to provide financial support for the Gillespie Business Plan Competition.
The Gillespie Business Plan Competition will be held each academic year
and will be open to all students at The University of Mississippi.

recipient must submit a W.P. "Bill" Thomas Memorial Scholarship application along
with a resume and two letters of recommendation (one from a high school and one from the
community), and/or nominations by a Principal, Headmaster, or Counselor to the Stewardship
Coordinator at The University of Mississippi.

amount equal to full tuition in other scholarships. Scholarship will be awarded a maximum of
two semesters. Selection of recipient will be made by a three member committee as established

care field. Recipient will be selected on the basis of demonstrated academic ability and leadership
potential. The scholarship will continue, based on annual review by the Council, until a degree is

was established in 2004 by Susan Margaret Bardwell to honor Patricia Rosalie Brumfield, Betty Jane Dial,

The University of Mississippi. First preference will be given to a full-time student majoring in the
School of Engineering, with second and third preferences given to a student majoring in the
Department of Journalism and any academic program respectively at The University of Mississippi.
The recipient shall be a full-time student who is chosen on the basis of need, demonstrated
academic ability, and leadership potential. The scholarship will continue, based on annual review
by the Council and maintaining a 3.0 GPA, until a degree is received.

other criteria set forth by the scholarship committee of the OMWC. Preference shall be given to
female students.

THE MILDRED H. CENTER COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP was established in 1995 by the Raymond H. and Mildred H. Center Foundation of Florida. The recipients shall be full-time students who are chosen on the basis of high moral character, financial need, academic ability, and leadership potential. The recipient shall be from one of the following counties: Lee, Prentiss, Tishomingo, Itawamba, Alcorn, Tippah, Benton, Union, Marshall, Lafayette, and Pontotoc.
