United States Air Force Band of Mid-America
Friday, October 5 • 8 p.m.

The United States Air Force Band has endeared itself to millions of listeners for more than 60 years through its exhilarating music. Since its formation in 1941, the Air Force Band has brought superb music and exciting entertainment to music lovers around the globe, earning its reputation as “America’s International Musical Ambassadors.” The Air Force Band performs a broad variety of musical genres from classical and jazz to country and rock. This is a spectacular performance not to be missed.

Friends of the Ford Center pre-show reception and intermission hospitality will be provided with this event.

Golden Dragon Acrobats
Friday, September 21 • 8 p.m.

Kids, don’t try this at home. That applies to pretty much everything you’ll see performed by the Golden Dragon Acrobats, an amazing troupe of acrobats, jugglers, contortionists and all-around daredevils. The ancient art of Chinese acrobatics began in China well over 2,000 years ago. This two-hour show draws on skills that date to ancient times and shines them up for the modern stage.

 

“The Magic of Lyn— America’s Premier Female Illusionist”
Sunday, February 10 • 2 p.m.

From the grand stages of Lincoln Center to the glitterama of Atlantic City, Lyn Dillies has captivated audiences of all ages with her spellbinding powers of prestidigitation. She has been hailed as the finest female magician in the land as well as one of America’s top illusionists, without equal.

 

“A Year with Frog and Toad”
Saturday, April 12 • 3 p.m.

A hit on Broadway, “A Year with Frog and Toad” was nominated for three Tony awards, including Best Musical. Now, for the first time, an all-new production will tour across North America. Arnold Lobel’s beloved characters hop from the page to the Ford Center’s main stage in Robert and Willie Reale’s musical “A Year with Frog and Toad.”
