RIA Checkpoint: Federal tax, state and local tax, international tax, and tax news alert databases.

Tax Management Portfolios Plus on the web: Also called BNA tax portfolios. Provides analysis of taxation issues along with relevant working papers and bibliographies to assist in the implementation of tax strategies. The working papers include model agreements and sample plans. Notices and Announcements are also included.

ABI/Inform Global (ProQuest): Search business periodicals for information on advertising, marketing, economics, human resources, finance, taxation, and computers. Also contains information on 60,000+ companies. Includes full-text access to the Wall Street Journal. Full-text and abstract. Coverage: 1971-present.

Accounting & Tax (ProQuest): Accounting, Taxation, Finance: Journals, Newspapers, magazines, and reports.

ArticleFirst: An OCLC index of articles covering business, science, humanities, social science, medicine, technology, and popular culture.

Business Source Complete: Has thousands of business periodicals including scholarly and trade journals. A collection of journals have coverage back to 1965 or earlier. Includes EIU Country reports, Datamonitor Company reports, and industry reports. Coverage 1965 and earlier-present

Digital Dissertations: Dissertation abstracts on all academic topics accepted at accredited institutions since 1861, plus full text of UM dissertations, 1997-present.

EBSCO (Academic Search Premier): General database that covers numerous topics.

EconLit: Journals, books, and working papers on economics: 1969 to present.


LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe: Provides access to a wide range of business, news, and legal information, including tax law. Accounting literature found under "Business." Also has Congressional Universe and Statistical Universe.

ISB - Independence Standards Board: The Independence Standards Board (ISB) was the private sector standard-setting body governing the independence of auditors from their public company clients. The ISBwas dissolved on July 31, 2001.
