The "Find It" Button: Finding the Paper Copy
Sometimes the library does not have an online version of a desired article, but a paper copy may be available on the shelf. This is especially true for older items. The Find It Button can help you locate these items.
In some search results, none of the article citations have direct links to full text. Click on the Find It button to see if the library has the article from another source.
The citation information appears at the top of the page. Sometimes, there is no link to any full text sources for the article. To see if there is a paper copy of the article, click to search the library catalog for the journal. The catalog can be searched by Title or by ISSN.
You will be taken to the Library Catalog results for your desired article or journal, it will show which paper copies the library holds. Further down, the location, call number, and status of the needed volume are shown. To easily save this information, you can send this information to your cell phone using the button labeled Send Via Text Message.
With your cell phone in hand, take the call number to the library to locate the journal on the shelf.
