Library Server Move = Unavailable Resources

Beginning Monday, August 13th, all UM Libraries’ servers will be moving to the campus Data Center. During this time, most online library services will be unavailable. This includes the library catalog, Find It!, the ILLiad interlibrary loan system, digital collections, access to electronic resources, and printing services.

While the move is underway access to most subscription resources will be unavailable. However, access to EBSCO’s Academic Search Premier and Business Source Complete, One Search, and WorldCat will be available in the Williams and Science libraries from library computers. Unfortunately these resources will not be available from other campus offices or from off-campus.

During the move, every effort will be made to minimize downtime for critical services. However, this is a large move involving many servers, so it may take a few days to relocate the equipment and thoroughly test connections and services. We apologize for any inconveniences.
