Monthly Turf TipProvided by: David Jumper January 2008 You wouldn't think about spraying during the winter months, but it's a good time to clean up some hard-to-kill weeds while the turf is dormant. We always have a few sunny, calm, and 55-degree days in January and February. During these days, Round-up (glyphosate) can be used on dormant turf to kill weeds in Bermuda and Zoysia grass (Do not use on Centipede and St. Augustine grass and always read and follow the directions on the bottle).
