David Jumper has been working with The University of Mississippi since July 1, 2000. He is the Assistant Director of the Golf Course for the Landscape Services Department. Born and raised in Etta, MS in Union county, David has a Masters of Agriculture from Mississippi State University. He also has a BS in Agriculture and Extension Education from Mississippi State. David is a Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator and he has worked in turf management and landscape maintenance. Previous positions include Sales Manager at Terra Chemical Co. in the Turf Division, Golf Course Superintendent with Greenwood Country Club, Assistant Superintendent with Colonial Country Club, and Spray Technician at Sea Island Golf Club.
