Dr. Maurice Eftink, Associate Provost and Dean of the Graduate School, Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Dr. Eftink oversees a wide variety of issues relating to the Graduate School, graduate students, and faculty. As Dean of the Graduate School, he is responsible for reviewing all applications for tenure and promotion by faculty. He also responds to issues relating to accreditation and assessment, and he acts as liaison between the office of the Provost and the department of Information Technology.
