Once again, the Graduate School invites departments to nominate outstanding prospective/new students for the Honors Fellowships. The purpose of the fellowships is to help in the recruitment of highly qualified students to our advanced degree programs. To be eligible for nomination, a student must be an entering student who will be receiving an assistantship and who meets the academic criteria approved by Graduate Council, click here for criteria.

Nominations must come from either the department chair or graduate coordinator. When more than one name is submitted from a department, please rank students in order of departmental priority. Use the full name and include an ID/Social Security number for each student.

Awards will be made immediately for those departments with early application deadlines. For those with the April 1st deadline, spaces/funds will be held back. To the extent that resources are available, the Graduate School will attempt to accommodate each department's nominations taking into consideration ongoing awards from previous years.
