The Center for Health Behavior Research is dedicated to empowering
people to enhance their health through lifestyle and environmental
supports. The
Center's activities focus on conducting leading edge research in
health behavior and providing lifestyle programs for the University
and Oxford communities. The lifestyle programs are supported
through the HealthWorks Employee Health Program. Our facilities
include a large conference space, a 10,000 square foot fitness
facility, equipped with cardio-respiratory equipment, free weights,
and strength-resistance equipment, a 65-meter natatorium, large
multipurpose gymnasium with a suspended indoor track, and an aerobic
exercise facility. The University Counseling Center, Employee
Assistance Program, Food Service, Human Resources, Pharmacy, Campus
Recreation, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Health, Exercise
Science, and Recreation Management are part of the Center's network
