Ethelene is responsible for the reconciliation of insurance premiums and making payment to various insurance vendors; balance the Premium Calculation Report; bill and collect premium payments for LWOP (employees on leave) and COBRA participants; reconciles various general ledger accounts and provides the end of the month general ledger total for fringe benefits.

Program Coordinator
Jessica schedules, organizes and promotes in-house and online training programs. Prepares and distributes the Human Resources quarterly newsletter and monthly training calendar. Jessica administers the Rebel Reserve temporary employment pool program. She assists hiring manager and search committee members with the hiring process and search committee guidelines. She screens applicants for non-exempt (hourly) positions. Jessica also serves as the HR representative on the HealthWorks committee charged with promoting healthy lifestyles and habits campus-wide.

Daniel is responsible for day-to-day issues in the administration of fringe benefits and workers compensation. He assists faculty and staff with routine questions regarding health insurance and other University benefits. He conducts paper completion sessions for New Employee Orientations, enters benefits data into SAP and assists with open enrollment. He assists employees whose last name begins with "M" through "Z."

Audrey Floyd
Manager of Payroll
Audrey supervises and manages the processing of payroll and related activities for University faculty, staff, and student employees. She is responsible for all payroll tax activities, including the remittance of payments and filing of federal and state payroll tax returns and W-2s. She also handles the reporting and submission of payments to agencies of tax-sheltered annuities and the MS State Retirement System. Audrey advises the payroll staff in the processing of garnishments, levys, leave time, bonuses, awards, stipends, and off-cycle payments. In addition, she oversees the processing of non-resident alien (NRA) payroll in relation to W-2s, 1042s and tax treaty limitations, and makes the final determination of request for exemption from payroll tax withholdings. Audrey maintains and reconciles payroll-related general ledger accounts along with various other accounting duties. She is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the SAP payroll system and assists in the testing, development, and enhancement of such system. Supervises Kathy and Cheri.

Administers clerical tests and helps applicants with the online application system.

Jennifer oversees administration of the University's compensation and classification plan. She reviews JAQ requests, updates and maintains job descriptions, calculates pay rate adjustments, conducts market surveys, generates compensation reports, and completes surveys. She is the primary contact to the drug and alcohol and apprentice programs. She processes eforms 11 and 40's.

Andrea supervises the employment team, training programs, and front office/student employment functions. She serves as the systems administrator for PeopleAdmin, our online employment application system. She also assists hiring departments and search committees with the recruitment, selection, and hiring of qualified applicants. She oversees the testing process for clerical and apprentice level positions as well as administers the background check process. In addition she facilitates a variety of training programs, updates the department web page, processes eform 7s (salary stipend), audits official transcripts, processes unemployment claims, and administers the annual performance appraisal program. Andrea also serves on the HealthWorks committee. Supervises Jessica, Vicky, Genie and Donna.

Pam supervises and manages the Benefits and Compensation Areas. She has signatory authority for departmental forms. She is responsible for the benefits, compensation, and classification areas. She processes electronic forms in the absence of Judy and Regina. She interprets policies, assists in the implementation of new benefits plans, and is the contact for HIPAA Privacy questions. She is responsible for the VETS 100 report and provides consultation to retirees and prospective retirees. Pam supervises Daniel, Jennifer, Raquel & Shevaun.

Senior Assistant Director of Human Resources
Regina supervises and manages the records area, insurance reconciliation, training program, employment office, and web page information. She has signatory authority for departmental forms. She handles all data requests from outside agencies, IHL, Federal and other campus requests. She is responsible for the I-9 report. She develops internal HRIS reports for areas of the office as needed and processes e-forms 1, 3, 20 and 25's. She is back-up for e-forms 7, 40, 11, and 13's. She also serves as the E-form administrator and maintains the reporting/routing structure for performance appraisals. Regina supervises Andrea, Shelly, and Ethelene.

She enters and approves timesheets routed to Human Resources and ensures that all timesheet data has been approved prior to payroll. She is responsible for the recording of employee tax exemptions, leave quota adjustments, and off-cycle payments. Kathy handles the processing of employee garnishments and processes the payments third parties for payroll related deductions. She is responsible for the entry of data related to tax treaties and IRS Form 8233. Kathy serves as part of the HR project of scanning, verification, and maintenance of electronic personnel documents. Serves as backup to Cheri.
