Class registration at the University of Mississippi is accomplished by telephone or the World Wide Web. You will be assigned an academic advisor who will assist you in completing your course schedule and academic advising must be completed by all students before they can register for classes. After academic advising you will be assigned your Personal Identification Number (PIN) which is necessary to provide access to the registration system. Further schedule adjustment is then possible during a short period known as "Drop/Add" when you may drop classes or add classes to your schedule.
