The completed International Undergraduate Student Scholarship
Application must be received by the Office of International Programs
by March 15 to be considered for the following Fall Semester (October
15 deadline to be considered for Spring Semester).
Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded only to entering
freshman with no more than 11 credit hours based
on their ACT or SAT test scores. To retain Academic Excellence
Scholarships, students must maintain an overall cumulative average
of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the freshman year and a 3.2
thereafter. Academic Excellence Scholarships are for a maximum
of four years or eight full-time, continuous regular semesters
as an undergraduate student.
The availability of scholarships is limited. The priority date
for applying for Academic Scholarships is February 1, though
applications will be considered until April 1, 2003. Scholarship
recipients will be notified beginning February 15, 2003. Students
must submit an Academic
& General Endowed Scholarship Application online to
be considered for the Academic Excellence Scholarships.
Submitting an Academic & General Endowed Scholarship
Application or submitting an International Undergraduate Student
Scholarship Application in no way guarantees financial aid.
Croft International Studies Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships are being offered by the Croft
Institute for International Studies at the University of Mississippi
to international undergraduates pursuing the International Studies
major. First priority will be given to eligible freshmen and
sophomores.
The Croft
International Studies Application deadline for the fall
semester is February 1.
