MISSION STATEMENT

The University of Mississippi Intensive English Program, now the English as a Second Language Program, was established in 1984 to meet the needs of international students who intend to study at The University of Mississippi or other U.S. educational institutions where English is the medium of instruction. It provides intensive English language instruction to students who wish to prepare for a successful academic experience in the U.S. and to live within an English-speaking environment.
