Just a reminder that all new enrollees for the Fall 1999 semester were required to attend six mandatory orientation sessions. If you did not attend one or more of these sessions, you must come to the Office of International Programs to watch the video-taped recordings of the sessions you missed. The deadline to watch the videos of any missed sessions is December 3, 1999.
Friendship International House (FIH) is a hospitality program and Southern Baptist Christian ministry to international students during the Christmas holidays. International students throughout the United States are invited to attend. To apply, you must be a non-American graduate or undergraduate student enrolled in a U.S. college or university. You may be single or married, and have children. This program is open to people of all races and religions. All participants must be at least 18 years of age, except for children of students who apply.

Birna Maria Bjornsdottir named in the SEC-All Tournament Soccer TeamBirna M. Bjornsdottir from Iceland has been named in the SEC-All tournament soccer team following her brilliant performance. The Rebels placed two players this year on the SEC All-Tournament team. Birna Bjornsdottir was named to the team after recording 21 saves in the game against Florida. Junior midfielder, Jennifer Soileau, was also named to the All-Tournament team after picking up two assists for the Rebels.
Ole Miss made its first appearance in the Southeastern Conference Women's Soccer Tournament finals by defeating Georgia 1-0.
