Stuart Bullion Lecture

The Department of Journalism is in the College of Liberal Arts, and Journalism majors must fulfill all COLA requirements. A degree in Journalism requires 126 credit hours total, with at least 42 hours at the 300 (junior) level or above. Students must take at least 36 hours in journalism, including 15 hours in the core (101, 102, 301, 371 and 575). All candidates must also have a minor or second major (see University catalogue requirements).  Journalism courses are usually taken sequentially, and many courses have prerequisites.
