MSPA

The Mississippi Scholastic Press Association exists to support, promote and nurture journalism in a high school setting through workshops, competitions, critiques, information and advice.

MSPA membership is open to any Mississippi school that has a newspaper, yearbook, literary magazine and/or journalism class.

Membership provides a wide range of benefits. Dues are $25 for a newspaper or yearbook; $40 if both publications at a school join. A critique service is available for an extra $5 per publication.

*Access to UM Journalism faculty or graduate students for professional consultation
*An annual competition for scholastic newspapers, yearbooks and magazines open to MSPA members
*A critique service for scholastic newspapers and yearbooks
