The Overby Center

In addition to the newly renovated Farley Hall, we now have a new addition to the building. Construction of the new Overby Center and the renovation of Farley Hall were made possible by a $7.5 million gift to the Department of Journalism. The new center is named for alumnus Charles L. Overby, CEO and Chairman of the Freedom Forum. Construction began in June 2005 and recently finished. The dedication of the Overby Center will take place in 2008.
