Courses: Depth Reporting, Advanced Reporting, Magazine and Feature Writing

Experience: National and foreign correspondent for the Boston Globe for 25 years based in Boston, Washington, Jerusalem and New Orleans; Served as bureau chief in Washington, Middle East and Southern bureau. Covered national politics, the White House and eight presidential campaigns. Author of numerous magazine articles for national publications and two books, Arkansas Mischief and Dixie. Taught as a visiting professor at LSU and Ole Miss, until being named Cook Chair in 2004.
