INDIVIDUAL STUDY
Individual Study I credit (Law 615, pass/fail credit) may be earned by participation on a competition team (i.e., National Moot Court competition Team)(more than 1 credit hour must be approved by law faculty), or by serving as a research assistant for a law professor. A student may receive up to four hours of individual study credit as a research assistant, but may not earn more than ONE hour per semester.

Individual Study II credit (Law 715) is graded credit for a major research paper written under guidance of law faculty. Proposal for paper and credit hours must be approved by Curriculum Committee six weeks prior to semester grade will be awarded. Proposal instructions and applications are available in the Law Registrar's Office.
