Two PPL majors are heading to Oregon in April of 2008 to present their papers at the Pacific University Undergraduate Philosophy Conference.

Several of our students have been chosen for internships for the summer of 2008.

Click here for more information about these developments, and to learn about recent events featuring Senator Trent Lott, former Senator Tom Daschle, and historian, Josef Joffe, author of Überpower.

Welcome

archThe recently established Department of Public Policy Leadership provides a challenging undergraduate major that prepares high-performing students for positions of leadership in an increasingly complex world. The interdisciplinary curriculum for the major incorporates geography, political science, economics, philosophy, psychology, and history. The program emphasizes the global nature of responsible decision making, the ethical imperatives of leadership, critical thinking and communication skills, and the quantitative skills necessary for careful policy analysis.

More information will be posted on this Web site as the program develops. In time we will post information about our developing curriculum, events, and opportunities for students and community members.
