Driving Directions
There is no commercial
airport in Oxford. The nearest airport is Memphis International Airport
which is about 70 miles away from Oxford.
If you are driving from Memphis International Airport, start out going
West on WINCHESTER RD towards ELVIS PRESLEY BLVD/TN-3/US-51 by turning
left. Turn RIGHT onto ELVIS PRESLEY BLVD/TN-3/US-51. Turn RIGHT onto E
BROOKS RD. Take the I-55 SOUTH. Take the MS-6 EAST exit, exit number 243A,
towards OXFORD. Drive about 22 miles on Highway 6. Turn left to West Jackson
Ave. on the first traffic light. Drive about 2 miles and turn right you
will reach the entrance of the campus. Turner Center is on the right of
the third stop sign. It is across the Ole Miss football stadium.
If you are driving on I-55 from the South, take exit 243-A on Batesville
to Highway 6 (East). Drive about 22 miles on Highway 6 and turn left to
West Jackson Ave. Drive about 2 miles and turn right you will reach the
entrance of the campus. Turner Center is on the right of the third Stop
sign. It is across the Ole Miss football stadium.
If you are driving from Atlanta or Birmingham, Drive along I-20 then change
to US78-W. After you pass Tupelo, Mississippi, take the Sherman exit and
turn left to Highway 9. Drive about 10 miles on Highway 9, then turn right
to Highway 76. Highway 76 becomes Highway 6 which passes through Oxford.
Follow the sign and you will reach Oxford and the University.
