Allison Innman is an Ole Miss graduate student, pursuing her Master of Science degree in the Geology and Geological Engineering Department. Her thesis project involves tripoli, a microcrystalline form of quartz often used as an abrasive and present in the Paleozoic rocks of Mississippi. The MMRI is supporting her research as it will expand our knowledge of this under-utilized Mississippi mineral resource. |
