In the early 1990's the Mississippi Mineral Resources Institute (MMRI) and the Municipal Gas Authority of Mississippi (MGAM) teamed together to produce a set of natural gas pipeline maps for Mississippi. The original idea was to provide the maps for the use of municipalities owning their own gas distribution systems. Recently, Mississippi's hydrocarbon-producing industry has also expressed a need for such maps and have urged the MMRI to make them more available. The old digital files were located, updated, put in a new format and now the maps are available to the public for every county in Mississippi. The digital files are available in vector PDF format and each is scaled to fit an 8.5" x 11" page. Click here to view and/or download an example in JPEG format.
