    This song was my unexpected success both years.  I think it is the goofy hand movements that does the trick.  The kids are so busy laughing that they forget that they are actually learning something! 

    I love introducing this song to my students.  I mentally prepare for the laughter and just go for it!  Slope is a tricky concept and is all over the Algebra 1 exam.  I am so glad that we found an easy way to remember the types of slope. 

    Check out my students making a fool of themselves!  I gave 10 points of extra credit to the two people willing to demonstrate the new song they learned in front of the whole class.  A week later the young lady in the video was found singing the song quietly and doing the hand motions in class on the test.  As silly as it may be, it works!
