Open House for Prospective Music Majors

The music faculty and students at the University of Mississippi encourage high school seniors seeking a quality music program to attend our Open House for prospective music majors on October 23, 2006. This will be an opportunity to meet with music students and faculty, sit in on music classes and rehearsals and meet with representatives from Admissions and Financial Aid. Prospective students may also take a lesson with one of our applied faculty providing sufficient advance notice is given.

Students will be taken on a tour of the beautiful Ole Miss campus and get to see the Ford Center for the Performing Arts located directly across the street from our newly renovated Scruggs Music Building. Enjoy performances by our music faculty and students after lunch and plan to attend a very special evening concert featuring the Mozart Requiem with the L-O-U Symphony Orchestra and the UM Choirs.
