Music Student Professional Organizations
Professional and scholarly societies play an important role in the
world of music and music education. Their local student chapters help
to stimulate interest in the music professions, encourage personal
and scholarly development. Student members participate at regional
and national meetings, receive journals and other resources, and gain
valuable experience and contacts through participation in local chapters.
