Ms. Douglas joined the University in February 1986. She began working in the accounting office as a secretary in the Contracts and Grants Office and served as Senior Administrative Secretary to the University Comptroller. After three years learning the administrative component of the university, she then went to the National Center for Physical Acoustics and served as Administrative Assistant and Purchasing, Property Control & Capital Budget Assistant. Here she learned about the research component of the university. In May, 1991 she moved across campus the the Department of Physics and Astronomy and served there for 16 years. Here she learned the academic component of the university
At the NCJRL, she is the webmaster for both the NCJRL and the Law School. She is responsible for designing publications coordinating all aspects of conferences and maintaining all financial records for the Center.
She joined the Center staff in October, 2008. |
