Hans Sinha is a graduate of the Tulane Law School where he received his J.D. and his Master of Laws (with distinction) in International and Comparative Law. He received his B.A. in History and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the National Center for Justice and the Rule of Law, he taught as an instructor and was Deputy Director of the Tulane Law School Criminal Clinic. He has over twelve years criminal trial experience, having served as both a prosecutor and a public defender.
