(via Interstate 55)
Ask someone at the airport for directions to I-55 South. Leaving Memphis on I-55 you will see exits for Southaven, Horn Lake, Nesbit, etc. and you will be on I-55 for about 60 miles. Take the second Batesville exit which will be marked Oxford/University of Mississippi and Hwy 6 East. Take Hwy. 6 East and you will be on that highway for about 25 miles. Continue to travel east on Hwy 6 until you see an Exit sign which reads OLD TAYLOR ROAD. Take this exit and at the top of the exit ramp, take a LEFT. Go approximately .7 of a mile to a 3-way stop (you will pass the new baseball stadium) and take a LEFT. Go over the bridge to a 4-way stop and take a RIGHT. The Law School is the third building on the right (a 5 story sandstone building). |
(via U.S. Hwy 78)
All car rental services around the airport are either on Democrat Road or they are just off of it. They can provide you with directions to Democrat Road. Take Democrat Road East until it intersects at US Hwy 78 (Democrat Road dead ends). Take a right onto US Hwy 78. You will travel approximately ½ hour when you will approach Route 7 South at Holly Springs, MS. Take Route 7 South to Oxford. (Route 7 outside of Oxford turns into a four lane divided highway.) Take the University Ave. exit West. There are 5 stop lights from this exit to the University campus. As you begin to approach the University you will see the Mary Buie Museum on the left. Continue on to the 3-way stop. Go across the bridge and at the 4-way stop, take a right. Lamar Law Center is the 5-story sandstone building on the right. |
