Search and seizure issues permeate law enforcement. The Fourth Amendment is also a very complicated area of jurisprudence. The legal landscape is constantly changing as a result of new technology and court decisions. Accordingly, the NCJRL has created its Fourth Amendment Initiative, which is designed to promote awareness of search and seizure principles through conferences, training, lectures, and support for selected publications.
