ULTRAFILTER AIR DRYER
As the air exits the Ingersoll-Rand compressor, it enters this Ultrafilter Desiccant Drying System to remove the moisture thereby providing dry, high pressure air to the Single Lobe Rig nozzle assembly in addition to other delivery stations distributed throughout the National Center for Physical Acoustics. This dryer contains approximately 8000 lbs of desiccant producing an effluent dewpoint of –40oF.
