| Located in The University of Mississippi's National Center for Physical Acoustics is an anechoic chamber in which high-speed, high-temperature flowfields are studied. The chamber, manufactured by Eckel Industries, creates an echo-free environment for frequencies above 200Hz and was designed to limit the test cell temperature, via positive flow addition, when researching high temperature jet flows. The dimensions of the chamber between the acoustic wedge tips are approximately 19ft x 20ft x 8ft high. | ||||||||
