Cooks For Kids: Celebrate Breakfast
Satellite Seminar
Presented: March 13, 2008

Description

Cooks for Kids is a new series of 30 minute satellite training programs from the National Food Service Management Institute that celebrates the fact that healthful food for children can, and should, be served everywhere.  We take you to kitchens in restaurants, schools, and at home to show you the tested techniques of preparing and serving healthful, appealing foods to children.

March’s episode is a great way to commemorate National School Breakfast Week. Join us as we take a look at how the BLD restaurant in Los Angeles, CA addresses the needs of its breakfast consumer. Travel with us as we see how schools are increasing breakfast participation with innovative breakfast programs. Learn some time-saving breakfast techniques that any family can use to make this mealtime healthier when Howard Helmer “The Omelet King”, demonstrates his omelet-making skills and the “incredible” versatility of eggs.us as we visit a kids' cooking class and learn how you can conduct a class of your own.

Join us for this exciting series that focuses on preparing and serving delicious, healthful foods for children.
