The National Food Service Management Institute (NFSMI) takes NFSMI and Team Nutrition training to state agency meetings, state School Nutrition Association meetings, regional seminars, and child care association meetings.

Special funding for this project allows NFSMI to offer these training sessions at little or no cost to the group or agency requesting them.

Available training covers a wide variety of topics for both school food service programs and participants in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). A list of topics is provided below.

NFSMI utilizes a national network of expert trainers to present training sessions ranging from short presentations to seminars that span several days. NFSMI has coordinated about 200 presentations each year since the project started in 2004.

To request NFSMI or Team Nutrition training sessions, contact Ellen Leppa, Coordinator of On-Site Services, at 800-321-3054 or by e-mail at eleppa@olemiss.edu.
