Christy M. Wyandt, Ph.D.

Christy M. Wyandt earned a B.A. in Chemisty from Carleton College in 1977 and worked for Baxter Travenol Labs as a pharmaceutical scientist for four years before matriculating at The University of Iowa where she earned a Ph.D. in 1986. Subsequently she was employed by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc. as a Senior Scientist and joined the faculty at the University of Mississippi in 1989. Her research interests include; solid state properties of drugs, thermal analysis, techniques for solubilizing poorly soluble compounds and polymer-water interactions. Currently, she is the Associate Dean of The Graduate School and Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutics.
