Residency/Fellowship Programs

The University of Mississippi offers two distinct types of residency training programs. The first is a general Pharmacy Practice residency, designed as an entry-level residency conducted in accordance with the ASHP standards and involving a wide variety of practice environments. The second is a set of specialty residencies which include Primary Care (ambulatory) and Infectious Disease (ID) which prepare practitioners for the special practice areas.

Future residencies are planned for Pediatrics, Geriatrics and Psychiatry.

Information on the Pharmacy Practice residency can be obtained from Dr. Sharon Dickey 601-984-4000 and on the specialty residencies from Dr. John Cleary (ID) 601-984-2617 and Dr. Debbie King (Primary Care) 601-984-5770. General inquiries may be directed to Dept. of Pharmacy Practice 601-984-2620.
