The Construction group is responsible for in-house renovation and construction projects having a value less than $250,000. Together with Facilities Planning, this group takes a project from conception to completion, including planning, estimating costs, and managing all staff and contractors during construction. Such projects may range from simple painting and carpet replacement to major large-scale office and laboratory renovations.

Projects falling under this category are usually determined by individual departments and are paid for with departmental funds. Projects should be initiated through Facilities Planning or through the University SAP Work Order System.
