OUR MISSION
The mission of the University of Mississippi Physical Plant Department is to develop, manage, maintain, repair, and remodel the infrastructure, facilities, and environment; to manage, monitor, and plan energy usage on campus; and to provide whatever assistance the University needs to complete its mission.
We also manage and monitor the campus to provide an environment conducive to teaching, learning, research, administration, and all the activities of the university community.
As operators and stewards of the University's energy, we monitor energy usage, manage existing energy supplies, and develop plans for efficient and effective energy usage.
Our goal is to provide these services as professionally, quickly, and cost-effectively as possible.
We develop and train our staff to provide the services the University needs and give continuous, uninterrupted support to the University's mission.
